I used to use one with coolant when I was a labourer in a steel frame shop. I'm now a automotive tech I spent 6 years doing suspension work here in australia we dont have many F trucks, rams ect but I could see a good use of that drill doing suspension upgrades. On heavy rigids the work would be endless.
Please show me a useful application of this tool. It seems too expensive for the home gamer and a pro probably has no need for it. Not a hate comment, I just want to see it’s benefits vice a regular drill or mounted drill press.
ANNULAR cutters dude, NOT ANGULAR! Annular means "ring shaped" and since these cutters only cut the periphery of the desired size hole leaving behind a slug, the type of kerf this cutter makes is known as an "Annular kerf". It comes rom the Latin word 'annularis' which means "pertaining to a ring". We get the word 'anus' ( meaning "ring" ) as a shortened, misspelled variation of annularis!
Pretty interesting shit, huh?
Good luck with the new mag drill! Peace.
Listen .. We aint buying no more shit! ...4 videos later and a insurance check .... We got loads more shit. Thats it dammit im going to roll my shit over BRB....p.S i liked the video ... Just sayin its funny as shit .. Keep up the good work LOL
I use the M 18 battery powered mag drill on a daily and I have to say I feel Milwaukee has dropped the ball on this, don’t give me wrong it’s extremely convenient to use but the fact that they don’t have variable speed is ridiculous to me. Just a tip if you ever drill horizontally make sure you use your safety strap, if the power ever goes out you can say goodbye to your thousand dollar drill and I would hate to get hit in the face with one of those things they weigh a ton one of the reasons I went with the battery powered one
The only way to go now is the Milwaukee 2787-22 18v mag drill. Work bought one a year ago and it's kick ass. Don t have to worry about power cordhang down and getting in the way. Of course we do a lot of horizontal drilling. Power cord was always in the way on the old mag drills.
Dam Justin that is a sweet drill I would love to have that in my arsenal in the shop. My next big shop tool will be a tire dolly for my big ag tractor tires so I’m not breaking my back anymore lol. Love all the new Milwaukee tools your getting I’m like you now kinda getting away from snap on tools now I have most hand tools it time to outfit the shop with bigger stuff now that I’m home full time in my own shop 👍🏻keep up the good videos
I had a neighbour. I knew him for 30 years. The two of us were tool guys. He had a sister who worked for Milwaukee. Naturally, he got good prices on tools. I've always like Milwaukee. They could take the punishment
Credit and tax write offs against profit from the business can get you a lot of stuff.
He's talked about this before in a live stream, he bought a lot of tools and expensive stuff for the business to build a credit rating and such to allow him to go to the bank and make the big purchases
+Daniel D'Andrea depends what you call "a good living" ...it's not about getting paid by the hour but by the job....you can never achieve his success getting paid hourly.... who's making money the mechanic making $50 hr or the shop making 10x that.? A framing crew make $25-50 hr , the owner makes 30-40k profit every 2 week frame...the builder makes 300-400k every house sold, it's not just how hard you work, it's how smart you work.....how you invest your profit and put money back into the company, low overhead, in house mechanic,etc.....
Lots of variables, I'm not disrespecting you, I hope you make a ton of money, but what I do creates more wealth easier and faster, maybe trucking is the same, ...maybe he invested in the market and cashed out or sold a few homes....I respect the guy for his work ethic and accomplishments.... people get so jealous of others that have more. Instead of criticizing, ask for advice , listen to people that have more then you , aspire to get to that level....it's always what I did...
+Joe Framer how many brand new trucks did he buy? At 200-300k each, he has 200k worth of tools, a shop loaded with the highest end shit you can buy, a brand new Denali....trucking alone doesn't make you THAT much money
I work 6 days a week at 12-14 hour shifts....I make a great living and pay all my bills on time.....I still wouldn't be approved to go out there and buy 7 trucks just like that....
I bought the battery powered milwaukee mag drill. the annular bits are pretty costly but last a long time. i was skeptical about the battery powered magnetic base being able to hold the the drill in place but i drilled 8) 9/16" holes in truck frame in seconds with no troubles.
With Baby Boomers becoming grandparents, the stodgy old codger and plump, cookie-baking white frizzy haired grandparents are getting a massive facelift. Tired of the old standbys of Granny, Grandma, Grandpa etc. todays grandparents are coming up with new names in droves!
send us your grandmother and grandfather names at norah at namenerds.com! Put the word "grandma" in the subject line.
The most common names for grandparents (at least in the USA):
Bubbe, Nana, Grandma, Granny, Gran, Gram, Grammy, Papa, Grandpa, Granda, Granddad, Gramps.
I always called my grandma AAAH ! because I could not say ABUELA (Were Spanish) My Grandpa was PAAAAAH ! I Guess I couldnt say PAPA. It just stuck.
Abi-Gabi - All the grandkids in my exs family used that name for their grandmother. The name came from baby talk by one of the cousins.
Aito: My grandkids call me Aito (Ah-ee-toh). It is short for "Abuelito" which is a diminutive for "Abuelo" which is grandfather in Spanish.
All Right Lou -- When my husband was a very small boy, he was always greeted by his jazz-playing grandfather with a "Gimme Five. [high five]. All Riiiight!" -- Thus, he soon became All Right Lou.
Alvin and Butter-butt : My daughters started calling my father Alvin because they thought he had puffy cheeks like Alvin the singing chipmunk. They call my mother butter-butt because while they were camping, she backed into a trash basket and got a butter wrapper stuck on her butt.
Ami: I called my mothers mother Ami, pronounced as in the French "mon amis", I dont know what it came from.
Recently we had our first son, and my in-laws wanted to know what they should be called. My ingenous 11 year old sister-in-law came up with the names "Amma" - for the Grandmother and "Adda" for the Grandfather. She derived the names from lord of the rings when one of the Elves were talking. I really happen to like the names, i beats calling them Grandma or Grandpa ( insert last name).
